Coke Vs Pepsi | Classic Debate

It’s time for another ‘classic’ debate that will stand the test of time (or at least, until one of these companies go broke).

Okay, people seem to have very, very strong opinions on this one. And personally, I just DON’T understand why.

For me Coca-Cola, Pepsi, homebrand ‘soda’ is all the same.. Okay, maybe not literally. There are small differences in taste, but they all have a base similar taste going on. They have small changes – enough to probably tell the difference if I were blindly tasting, but not enough for me to enjoy one over the other.

So, why do I think this has been such a huge debate?

I think when it comes to which is better, it’s always going to be 100% personal taste. There will always be people who prefer one over the other. And THAT IS OKAY!

If you like Coke over Pepsi, homebrand over all, or Pepsi over everything in the whole wide world…. At the end of the day, you’re putting the same kinda stuff into your body anyway.

There are, however, some differences that I will admit are better or worse – and those are the flavoured versions!

I much prefer Vanilla Coke over Vanilla Pepsi for example.

So, where you YOU sit on this debate. Maybe you prefer something totally different (like Dr Pepper), and think that IT is the one that should be the ultimate soda? Share in the comments – I’d love to know.

Could Jack Have Fit On The Door? | Classic Debates

Jack could 100% have fit on the door when the Titanic went down, but why is THAT the debate??

Okay, so there have been so many people I hear talk about this idea that Jack could have fit on the door with Rose when the Titanic had gone down. They both would have survived, and lived a happy life together for the rest of time..

I hear this and laugh, because for me – we’re all talking about the wrong thing!

Yes, Jack probably would have fit on that door.. but it wasn’t about space, it was about weight.

The real concern would be that Jack’s weight on the door causing it to sink with both of them on it. They would have both sunk and drowned, not because he couldn’t fit on the door, but because his weight would have dragged them down.

Now I know what you’re all thinking – I’ve seen Leo DiCaprio, he doesn’t look that heavy. Well, it would have all depended on the door itself and their combined weight of course. But, the way I look at it, why are we even having this discussion?

It’s really pretty obvious if you ask me.

Spork Vs Splade | Classic Debates

You know that thing which isn’t quite a fork, not a spook, and not a knife… It’s kinda all in one? WHAT IS that thing called?

I actually didn’t realise this was a debate until the last few years, because as far as I (and apparently everyone else around me) was concerned, this amazing utensil (most often in plastic form – sorry world saving people), was called a Spork).

Now, some people stick to their guns, no matter what you say – especially in a CLASSIC debate that’s been raging for decades, or since the world began… like Spork V Splade. But I actually have a very simple solution (short of renaming them to become “Foons”)….

When a fork/spoon is combined WITHOUT a serrated edge, that is called a SPORK.
